The main goal of the A Sound Beginning Program is to reduce and eliminate the stress that normally is part of the transition period from shelter/rescue to living in a home. By following the simple steps in the book, Adopting a Dog? Start off right with...A Sound Beginning, it helps dogs become adoptable, and can keep them from being returned. The result of taking the class is that a better relationship based on understanding BOTH ends of the leash is established, which is the foundation for a lifetime of learning. A BONUS TO HELP EVEN MORE DOGS When you register for classes in the A Sound Beginning Program, STARFISH will receive a $20 donation in honor of your new family member.
